OK. For the weekend:
* Wash dishes -> DONE!
* Wash clothes - Was working on but it has rained all day and now the sump pump has kicked on. No more laundry for today.
* Hunt for a nice blanket to make into robe -> Sort of DONE!
* Watch the Breeders Cup this evening (Go Curlin!) -> DONE! :( Curlin came in fourth... but the other horse I liked - purely because of the fact that it had "Raven" in its name, won. :D
* Work on the ugly afghan/sweater
* Clean out car... I still haven't done that. ARGH!
* Order markers -> DONE!
The DickBlick experience was great. I bought 21 new markers (more than what I had intended!!) because they gave me the special pricing for ordering more than 12 markers. The website states that if you order 12+ of ONE COLOR, you get special pricing.... I got that for ordering 21 markers of different colors. I also ordered two pieces of scratchboard. :) Those will be Christmas gifts. One for Dad and one for a reader of this journal who will remain nameless. Unless I totally fuck it up and then I will have to think of something else. Heh.
Went to Salvy Am to see what blankets they had... bupkiss. I went to Ollie's Outlet and they had some blankets/throws but the only measurements on the packets were in centimeters... so the one I got is more of a lap blanket. (Hey! COM - wanna sell me one of yours?? You take pay pal?) It's cute with little kitties on it. I'll keep it for now but I want something the size of a twin bed comforter/blanket - made of fleece (polar fleece), minky, or something that doesn't ravel a lot. So, I will wear the little kitties until I can get my ugly Cadaverine's Technicolor Yawn Nightmare Coat done... unless COM talks to me. Heh heh.
Also at Ollie's Outlet, I scored a gift for cousin Mary: a quilt block bible. It's similar to the Beading Bible, Crochet Stitch Bible and Knitting Bible (![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) catzaryna gave me the first one). I LOVE those books! So, since Mary is a quilter and can actually do pieced quilts (I can't - I can crazy quilt but trying to make perfectly square stuff... nope!), I thought this would be perfect for her. I also got 4 or 5 true crime/murder kill people books. :D I won't have to shop for Crow or COM for Christmas! Ha ha! They'll be getting murder for Christmas. MWA-HA-HA-HA!
